The WUST Research Center is proud to announce the upcoming Inspire to Publish, 2026 Edition. This edition will continue our tradition of recognizing researchers who demonstrate exceptional commitment to scholarly excellence, producing original, peer-reviewed research that carries the Washington University of Science and Technology name into the global academic conversation.

The 2026 edition will celebrate publications representing the breadth and ambition of research being conducted within the WUST community, spanning financial analytics, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and agricultural technology. Each recipient will be awarded a cash incentive and a Certificate of Publication Excellence by the WUST Research Center in recognition of their contribution.

Certificate of Publication Excellence

Every recipient of the Inspire to Publish Initiative is formally recognized with a Certificate of Publication Excellence, issued by the WUST Research Center. This certificate serves as an official acknowledgment of the recipient's scholarly achievement and their contribution to advancing research under the WUST name.

Eligibility

The Inspire to Publish Initiative is open to anyone whose published research carries a WUST affiliation, including current students, alumni, and staff members. To be eligible, the publication must appear in a Scopus-indexed journal or any recognized conference proceedings. There are no restrictions on the field of study or the date of publication, if the work bears the WUST name and meets the publication standard, it qualifies.

In cases where a publication has multiple co-authors affiliated with WUST, the cash incentive will be awarded to one designated contributor, who may then distribute it among the co-authors as appropriate.

What Recipients Receive

Every qualifying submission is eligible for two forms of recognition:

Cash Incentive
Each approved publication will receive a financial award as a direct acknowledgment of the researcher's scholarly contribution and commitment to advancing knowledge under the WUST banner.

Certificate of Publication Excellence
In addition to the cash incentive, every eligible participant will be formally recognized with a Certificate of Publication Excellence, awarded by the WUST Research Center. This certificate serves as an official testament to the recipient's scholarly achievement and their contribution to building WUST's research legacy.

How to Submit

Submitting your work to the Inspire to Publish Initiative is straightforward. Applicants are asked to provide their published article, proof of publication, and relevant author details through the WUST Research Center's online registration form.
