Washington University of Science and Technology (WUST) is an active organizer and co-host of internationally recognized academic conferences. In 2025 alone, WUST has brought together researchers, engineers, academics, and industry professionals from across the world to its Alexandria campus and through hybrid global platforms. The 9th International Joint Conference on Advances in Computational Intelligence brought together leading scholars from 12 countries, with 82 scholarly papers presented across ten parallel sessions on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data-driven problem-solving. Proceedings are published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems series, indexed in SCOPUS, DBLP, INSPEC, and SCImago.
WUST proudly hosted the 11th IEEE International Conference on Sustainable Technology and Engineering under the theme "Sustainable Technology for Humanity," bringing together researchers, academics, industry leaders, and students from around the globe. The conference covered artificial intelligence, green computing, renewable energy, smart cities, and sustainable manufacturing.
Organized by Vishwakarma University in collaboration with WUST, this conference focused on harnessing AI and machine learning to address global challenges including climate change, resource depletion, and social inequality.
The 5th International Conference on Applied Intelligence and Informatics was held at WUST, covering emerging applications of AI in healthcare, pattern recognition, network security, and analytics, structured in a competition format promoting open-access datasets and reproducibility of scientific results.
WUST students, faculty, and researchers are encouraged to participate, as presenters or attendees, in the conferences associated with the university.
