The WUST Journal of Science and Technology (WJST) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by Washington University of Science and Technology. WJST is dedicated to advancing the frontiers of science, technology, and interdisciplinary innovation by publishing original research articles, review papers, and technical communications that address both theoretical foundations and real-world applications.
WJST provides a rigorous and inclusive platform for researchers, academics, engineers, and practitioners to share their findings and contribute to the global body of knowledge across the sciences and emerging technologies. The journal particularly encourages submissions that bridge disciplines, connect academic research to industry challenges, and address problems relevant to a globally diverse scholarly community.

WJST is a fully open-access publication. All published articles are freely available online immediately upon publication, with no subscription or access fee for readers. Authors retain copyright of their work under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
The publication costs of accepted manuscripts are covered through Article Processing Charges (APC) paid by the author or their supporting institution. Details are available on the Manuscript Submission page.
All manuscripts submitted to WJST undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Author identities are not disclosed to reviewers, and reviewer identities are not disclosed to authors. Manuscripts are evaluated by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. The editorial decision is based on originality, scientific rigor, significance of contribution, and clarity of presentation.
