What Is the Inspire to Publish Initiative?

The Inspire to Publish Initiative invites all members of the WUST community who have published research articles, in Scopus-indexed journals or conference proceedings, to submit their work to the WUST Research Center for formal recognition and reward.

This program reflects WUST's broader commitment to fostering a vibrant, productive, and globally recognized research culture. The mission of the WUST Center for Research is to foster a vibrant research culture by empowering students, academics, and staff with the tools, resources, and opportunities needed to excel in multidisciplinary research. The Inspire to Publish Initiative is one of the most direct expressions of that mission, putting meaningful recognition and tangible incentives behind the scholarly work that defines WUST's growing reputation as a research institution.

Each edition documents the recipients, their affiliated publications, and the journals and conference proceedings in which their work appeared, building a growing public record of the scholarly output produced under the WUST name.

Eligibility

The Inspire to Publish Initiative is open to anyone whose published research carries a WUST affiliation, including current students, alumni, and staff members. To be eligible, the publication must appear in a Scopus-indexed journal or any recognized conference proceedings. There are no restrictions on the field of study or the date of publication, if the work bears the WUST name and meets the publication standard, it qualifies.

In cases where a publication has multiple co-authors affiliated with WUST, the cash incentive will be awarded to one designated contributor, who may then distribute it among the co-authors as appropriate.

Submitting your work to the Inspire to Publish Initiative is straightforward. Applicants are asked to provide their published article, proof of publication, and relevant author details through the WUST Research Center's online registration form.
